🔵 🔴 🟡 Course description

The subject of the course is the applications of Virtual Reality (VR) technologies. The various technological approaches of the OP, virtual environments and virtual worlds and their characteristics are described. Ways of utilizing and designing research with OP technologies are proposed. Both the technology on which such systems are based and the methods of human-user interaction in OP systems are analyzed. Particular emphasis is placed on OP applications in the field of contemporary digital arts and in the field of software application development (with an emphasis on video games) in fixed and portable computing environments.

At the end of the course, the student will be able to:

  • know the specifics of virtual reality technology,
  • use virtual environments as a means of representing reality,
  • understand the stages of development of a virtual reality application,
  • use basic virtual reality content creation tools
